The Grammy-winning Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir and the virtuoso strings of the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra perform under the baton of legendary founding conductor Tõnu Kaljuste. The program features: the transcendent music of Estonian mystic Arvo Pärt; excerpts of Paul Frehner’s ethereal The Seven Last Words of Christ, a Soundstreams commission that premiered in 2008; and the dazzling and radiant Beatus Vir of Antonio Vivaldi, a revolutionary sacred work of its time.
